Agency power should cost more because its has titanium tips.
Agency power focus on more High end parts so they can charge more
All Megan racing are economical price. So they can't charge more.
but I can tell you, I sell a lot megan because of the price.

If all you're looking for is a budget buy then yes, I agree. However, people that are purchasing Ti exhausts are typically not looking for budget buys. These folks are looking for an increase in performance or the unmistakable look of burnt titanium.

I don't want the AP anymore. #1 Reason: the purple can. If I had a white, black, or silver Z, it would look great. Problem is, I have a daytona blue. I saw a pic of a DB Z with the AP on and it just didn't look right.
Seems to me, if I like the look and sound of the AP just without the purple can, I go with the Megan Racing exhaust. However, let's say I buy into the school of thought that Megan Racing does less R&D on their products and uses subpar materials/construction, which way direction would you point me? I mean come on, there has to be SOME reason why Megan Racing's products are sooo much cheaper than the competition.
I like the Apexi ExTi with just the "burnt" tip, but its $1000! I'd only pay that much for a dual system. How about the Greddy Ti-C?

[QUOTE=kramykram;8325170]megan racing makes crap products i do not care who supports them. might as well buy an ebay hks exhaust if thats the case. the agency power sounds awesome.[QUOTE]
Meagan Racing crap? I can only speak for the headers and Drift Spec exhaust and both are great. Sound, quality and welds are perfect.

Crap may have been extreme bro. But seriously, Megan Racing is known for lower end products and poor quality control thus resulting with inconsistent quality. Megan Racing is an American Company that have their products manufactured in China/Taiwan. That's how they keep the costs down. If I were to use anything by Megan Racing it would only be their exhaust products...that can't be effed up too badly.

Agency Power produces 99% of their products here in the USA. Higher quality and providing jobs here at home. Megan still has issues with their exahusts, specifically with their hangers and their pipes cracking. They just don't have as many issues with their exhausts as they do with their other products like suspension.

It is physically impossible to have THE SAME quality when you have 2 vastly different metals in the composition of the products. It's half the price for a reason.

Stainless steel is the standard material for a Muzzy exhaust system. In most cases a stainless steel system weighs about 12 pounds. The optional material, titanium weighs a little over half as much as steel yet is stronger. The average weight of a titanium system is about 7.5 pounds. For comparison, stock systems can weight from 20 to 35 pounds. Generally the design is the same for both the titanium or stainless steel, so the power output is the same as well. Titanium systems are more expensive because the material is more expensive and the welding involved is a strictly controlled TIG process. Both stainless steel and titanium are better materials than mild steel. Titanium, due to its' light weight could be called a better material than stainless steel.
