Ha yea to u kramy. Like I said leave it b. No reason to start a dick swinging contest bc there's not one. He doesn't was a purple can as stated 3 pages back. So why keep nuthugging?

lol not nut hugging. im just proving the ti, sounds better than the stainless. thats all.

no rasp at all with the high flow cats. now test pipes yes.

kramykram's video is what i would call "good" rasp.

I love 2004black350z's video. holy crap that's loud. i would buy the megan but i think my car is way too low for it.

Don't rule it out.I know its all personal opinion but I think it looks great with our color.Check out the pics I have and I'll put some better ones up tomorrow.

the megan and ap are the same exact thing. my car sits decently low also. so i don't see why you would have issues with the can.

the thing is, i wouldn't mind scraping up the Megan..lol. The AP, it might hurt a little.

Here is a pic of my car as in ride height, what do you guys think? Does the piping hang low? i dont' care of the piping scraps but i want the cannister to stay pretty. My car is a bit lower since then from the second pic.

also, from what i was told, the AP's tip is the only thing that is real titanium. The cannister is just anodized color. Not sure if this was true or not.

GOOD GOD superblack Stay away from the AP. My car was that low when I got my exhaust and after it scraped one time I bought taller tires,had the fenders rolled and had the camber set back to stock so I wouldn't destroy the exhaust like your car will.

The cannister/muffler is titanium as well. Only the piping and flanges are SS.

Thanks for your reply, it's the one I've been waiting for! I'm looking forward to seeing the pics. I only saw one pic of a DB with the AP and may have made a snap judgement. After seeing kramykram's video and listening to all others on youtube...nothing compares to THE SOUND of the AP.

What Y-Pipe do you have? Will my car be louder than the one in the vid (because of my CAI & Headers)? I'm a little afraid I might want to switch it out after a while because it's too loud with the top down (I have a ZR). I still haven't ruled out the Greddy Ti-C. I know it's quieter than the AP but is it actually "quiet"? I don't want just a minor improvement over stock either.

ONCE AGAIN if u r worried about loudness drone etc DO NOT BUY a 3" Straight pipe exhaust. Look into Greddy or AAM. What dont u understand?

The Greddy ti-c single and AP Single are both great exhausts, i've owned both and felt that they are both great sounding exhausts, however the AP is considerably louder than the Greddy, and it doesn't come with a silencer. The greddy is quieter even without the silencer, although the AP is much lighter if weight is your thing. Also I did feel that AP had much better attention to detail as in the awesome looking canister as well as the piping is fully polished where with the greddy only the canister and resonator/premuffler are polished. All in all you can't go wrong with either one it just depends what your level of loudness you can stand, with the Greddy I can easily have a conversation in the car, with the AP it takes a little bit more effort, but either way i'm sure you will be happy, I paid 600 shipped for my ap, and 565 shipped for my greddy so theyre really close in price too.

Glad I can finally help someone out on here.
Right now my exhaust is all stock excaept the AP exhaust.I'm not sure about the headers but no it won't be louder than the silver one in the video.The main sound difference between my car (just the AP exhaust) and the one in the video is that my car only sounds like that after 4k rpm until then its low and almost silent when cruising under 60 mph.
Sorry about the pics being late,I've just been busy.I'll definitely take some tomorrow or monday but for now just look at the cell phone pics on my profile.

My Mad Eyelids from thezstore.com and Grillcraft grill are sitting around my house too. Need to take a trip to the body shop. Also need to make sure I have $ for my trip to the beach Memorial Day weekend HAHAHA
