30 hp from an exhaust?
If the car dynoed was a Jap spec or Oz spec then yes. Most of the cars in Australia have gone for the exhaust built by Hi-tech and I dynoed 21rwkw gain.
The charts are posted on the regional foum as proof. So are many others.
As for the US spec...dunno!
I just can't see how there could be such a design difference between the cars. Maybe when TS look into the Oz ECU they may be answer this question for us all.

The only way you MIGHT see a 30+ hp gain with just exhaust on the Z would be if you took a Honda exhaust, put it on the Z and dynoed, and then put an aftermarket exhaust on a Z... that might be a 30hp difference, but the stock exhaust already flows pretty well... why do companies think they can get away with this? That power curve is such a joke, looks like it was made in MS paint. Our power curves aren't that smooth...
The power curve is where I am having a problem. All the other companies I have seen have used real dyno sheets.
This is just a joke but they could have twin charged their Z (Super and Turbo) with the stock exhaust, then put on this exhaust and... wow look what we got!.

I was reading a magazine article recently that compared many different exhaust systems. Among them, in fact the first one, reviewed was a 5Zigen exhaust. I don't remember which model exhaust it was (was one without a cat-back) but I do remember seeing the chart showing a 3.4hp _loss_.
Not sure if that's the same one on that site though.

This look like 5Zigen's new dual system, not the one tested in SportsZ Magazine, or whatever the name of the magazine is. I don't believe the claim, but from it's design I expect some gain at higher RPMs from it.
Boy, Intense has quite a selection of systems, don't they?
