I just got my order of stillen headers in today. I was inspecting them an saw that all of the flanges were not true. Was wondering if anyone else has seen this.. Thanks

 

Make them replace them. I bought some used ones and had to true them up, but not new ones!!!

 

If I was not waiting on them to finish up my car I would send them back. But the down time I don't wanna deal with to send back an get the new. I'm just gonna try to get them refund me what it causts to get them true.

 

I took the time to file the welds where the tubes meet the flange and also in the collector. I to wanted them to be trued. I smoothed out the welds and sharpened the merge points in the collectors. It took me two hours or so but I'm **** like that.

 

Well stillen is overnighting me a new set of headers. Therr customer service is great.. Yea down in the collector looked like it could have some cleaning up.

 

that is stillen quality for ya... mass production... low quality control... im sure that the headers are outsourced to india or new zealand... kiwis
