Default Hks cf vs agency power

Hey guys, need to ask two questions.

Im debating between the custon hks carbon single exhaust and the agency power. I like the look of both, but wondering which is the louder/deeper exhaust? I heard both and both sound loud, but I don't want to get pulled over for being obnoxious.

Also, would exhaust would cost me less? I know the agency powers here go for around 450-600, while there is an hks carbon going for 290. Would fabricating a 3 inch pipe/labor be cheaper than just getting the agency?

I also need to get a y pipe, should I just get the oem one for aftermarket? Wondering if getting either would affect the sound/air flow. Looking to keep the stock cats, if that affects the y pipe sound at all. Heard that stock cats/aftermarket y pipe will rasp. Thanks.

Both of you need to do some research. Exhaust note and loudness will vary depending on what exhaust parts you use. A car with an AP exhaust with a stock y pipe and cats will sound different from one with an AP exhaust and aftermarket ypipe. Sound and loudness will vary among different aftermarket ypipes as well.

As for your question about fabricating op, you need to call your local shops to find out how much it would cost.

yea. i guess for now I will most likely stick with stock cats, and a cheap after market y pipe, like MR. But I want to know which exhaust is louder with that set up. I am looking for something throatier and deeper. I heard both on youtube, but hks sounds raspy like the regular hks dual, and agency just sounds too high pitched. But the comments i have read say the hks is deep.

Hks is not an exhaust. It's a can. So kinda hard to compare apples to oranges. If u can have the piping EXACTLY fabricated as AP then I would say hks. Madrel bent exhaust and crush piping will yeild a diff tone

ok f this. Which one is louder/deeper, agency power or an hks custom with 3 inch straight pipe without resonator.

Never heard the hks but I have the agency power and it's definitely deep and loud from 1-4k.
