Default Which gaskets for Test pipes?

I just bought some 2.5'' strup TPs but I'm going to have to buy all the hardware and gaskets. The stock diameter is 2.25 but w/ the TPs being 2.5, I'm thinking I should go w/ a 2.5 diameter gaskets or does it matter?

I been searching around places to buy gaskets other than nissan (will use as last resort) and was wondering if these gaskets for the header to cat were ok:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Exhau...#ht_3174wt_902

my concern w/ these would be the clearance as they are as stated about 2mm thick uncompressed where as the stock looks really thin and flimsy. Should I be ok with these?

anyone know any other places for the cat to y-pipe gaskets?

Between the stock headers and your test pipes, use the stock gasket. The stock header exhaust gaskets are good, reliable and reusable.

For the outlet of your test pipes, you will have to use the same diameter gasket to match up with your catback.... what ever diameter that may be.

+1 on using the stock gasket between the header and test pipe. I used the one's that came with my pipes and ended up having to replace them in less than a week.

awesome, thanks! The car has about 24k miles on it, do you guys think I would be able to reuse the head to cat gaskets or just go ahead and buy new ones? I guess I would also have to visually inspect them for myself and make the final decision.

I reused mine and I have 60k on them. If youre worried about it you could always use some liquid gasket type stuff in addition to the OEM gaskets.

mmm ok, i'll prob just do that instead. Just called nissan and they quoted me $16.35 each for those gaskets which is ridiculous.
