I have just ordered the plenum with the strut tower brace... i was wondering if it will significantly increase my quarter mile time with these mods -

Injen CAI
Grounding kit

At my local drag strip i can muster a 14.019 (which is noted to be an extremely slow track... a stock s2000 ran a 14.6 with a GOOD driver) indicating it is a slow track... would you guys think the plenum is a good mod for increasing my quarter mile times? thanks!

 

It certainly won’t slow you down! You won’t be leaving the power band as soon as you would stock. So you can look at it in the way you have gained X horsepower at ~5600 – 6600 RPMS for each gear you hit during your run. Your X should be between 0 and 20 HP depending on RPM. Let us know what you see at the track!

 

You will definitely see gains with the plenum alone.

I hope so. I wanna be running 13.8 - 13.9 at this slow track

 

more air = more power = better 1/4 time so yep the plenium will give you better time

 

go buy some drag radials and you'll shave more time off @ the 1/4 track than you will with the plenum. If you always want that extra power, get the plenum.
