The rep's are not as bad as everyone is making them out. Yeah, they drone hard because of the super free flowing (cheap) resonators. If you put an x-pipe in the system it transforms the exhaust. I just got rid of mine and replaced it with a Fujitsubo... and I'd be lying to you if I claimed the Fuji sounded better, to me. However without the X-mod to the system, it drones way too much and doesn't sound like a Japanese engine. But with it, it's drone is reasonably low on a lightly modified car and the note sounds really nice on acceleration and especially good on decel.

Note: I like racecar rasp.

^+1 on the x-pipe.

The resonated x-pipe really transforms the exhaust. Just weld it in place of the h-pipe and resonators. It will sound totally different. Almost no drone on the freeway.

I will be getting a TDX2 soon.

Resonated Magnaflow X-muffler (in place of the system's resonators) or a basic X-pipe in front of the system's resonators. If you use a basic x-pipe, it does look a lot cleaner and you can show your muffler guy a picture of the ARK Grip system to copy.

This is what I did to mine.

The H-pipe is a joke. Only a 1/2" hole.

Resonators started to come apart.

Installed the resonated x-pipe and it sounds 10x better. Has that "rolling rumble" sound.

Ha ya I kept that bar. I can make a video if you want and post it up. It sounds like all the other HKS reps with magnaflow X pipes though. I also made decent power with it

Yeah i usually figured that most people get rid of the bar because its like a metal tube with an opening of a pin hole lol.

I'm putting together a M2 exhaust with the Magnaflow x pipe as well I want to hear how yours sound in normal driving, because these replicas drone is killing me.
