yep the one for the Evo X, and Evo 7-9 has been a really popular setup. The Z one is a bit longer IIRC, so it may come in slightly heavier, but that weight is right in the ballpark. As far as full Ti exhausts, this one is in a league of it's own as far as weight/performance and cost, particularly considering it comes from a top shelf company such as Tomei, who simply doesn't make junk, does tons of R&D before a product is ever released, and stands behind the products they offer post-sale

Looks like it has to be at least 70mm.
I think I might be going with a different system though. From one of the pictures, it looks like the Tomei system actually has a resonator before the actual muffler. As soon as I order and install my exhaust system I will post pictures

Tomei just needs to make a Y-pipe in order to complete a top notch NA kit. This exhaust would probably work really well in conjunction with a set of their Tomei 272 cams, Tomei headers and Tomei test pipes. I'd bet it be pretty badass on a HR with headwork done to it.

^Well according to you, exhausts don't make power anyways.
However, I too believe that if someone did a full-out Tomei set up, with their cams, internals, version 2 headers, and some testpipes and their exhaust system, some seriously awesome power would be coming out of a NA engine.

Where in my post did I say that "in order to take full advantage of this exhaust" you NEED to purchase anything additional. If your going to act like a know-it-all do yourself a favor and make sure you actually know what you're talking about before you start opening up your mouth.

Now that's what's up. Single, plus Tomei = JDM hotness.. With V2 headers, testpipes, and Tanabe y pipe specifically (which the posted diameter matches up to Tomei test pipes) should flow and sound very good. This also clearly would be good choice for the BP turbo kit if the weight is really that low..

No one is selling anything here , it's not even our thread and there is nothing to even sell at this point. When there is something we will make a for sale thread in the appropriate section. I just happen to know more about it than nearly anyone else does short of Tomei themselves and our mutual friend who's car has the test unit. So forgive me for addressing questions that interested members may have if I happen to gave the info they are looking for considering it's my blog that was referenced in the OP's post. Kwame simply made a comment about his opinion. He never said you had to get everything, or anything for that matter, he simply expressed his interest in seeing a Y pipe to go specifically with the other items the manufacturer already produces
