Soo! Got the exhaust on today and boy what a day. Sounds great and went together easy enough. So that silencer that comes with it.. It's a TRAP! Put it in for laughs and turns out the exhaust got the last laugh. Got stuck and had to take off the muffler. But here's some pics and some before and after videos!

Old Nismo ( I loved this exhaust so much.. )

It does sound like every other single, but that weight factor for a few hundred $$ more is well worth it!

Then again AP has that little indent in the exhaust as well. Maybe that helps it appear to look a little more tucked in there.

i ment the area right behind the muffler. the AP is tucked close to the diff for max clearance.

I'll take some pics today. Drone isn't bad about the same as my Nismo to be honest. The only thing that bothers me is at about 2500 RPMs the springs that are used to connect pieces vibrates for about 200-300 RPMs and goes away.

^hmm wonder if you could wrap some exhaust wrap in those areas to prevent it?

Just a thought

did you try to turn the springs around, or twist 1/2 turn so that there is more tension?

i thought about plasti-dip the springs so that they would be coated to prevent rattling...

I haven't really messed with it at all to be honest.. Guess it's really not that annoying, just something on the to-do list.

I just bent the spring hooks more to 90° angle, which alone created enough space between springs and tubing to stop rattle. I have another question. Have you guys had problem with leaks under the clamp bands? I had to exchange exhaust due to regular technical inspection and 4fun tried to use vacuum to find some leaks on Tomei and end up shocked how horribly leaky it was there. I used some rtv to fix it and now I have to wait to see if it can stand the heat...
