Default 350Z Equal length headers w/Burns Collectors

We have just released a new header for the 350Z.For many years we have been building high end headers for Porsches, BMWs,Ferraris,etc......So I thought it was about time to do one for the 350Z(370Z is coming real soon).Anyways here are a few details:They utilize Burns stainless Merge Collectors and equal length runners. We can do the primary sizes in 1 5/8" or 1 3/4".The Bunrs collectors have been computer designed and dyno proven to broaden the powerband from idel to redline. The use the proper merge angle of 15 degrees which promotes better scavenging from the cylinder head as well as higher velocity out of the exhaust port.Although these headers are quite pricey, they are the best that money can buy. These headers utilize the factor O2 sensor locations. They are made out of 304SS and are TIG welded on special fixtures to ensure perfect fitment.Oh and the last thing...these are 100% made in the USA!!!!

And ofcourse a couple pics.

Beautiful!

Any chance you'll make a longtube header?

Wow, I want a set, but would like to see some independent dyno's.

I'm local too. I'm the white G that's always at Qualcomm.

Considering that ebay headers are also equal length ( without the cool collector ) and only cost about $120. These would have to show some pretty bad *** gains to be worth it.

Going up agaist the established Japanese tuners (Nismo and Tomei) at a higher cost will be tough (not to mention the clones). But I'm in for dyno sheets.

Ill get some dyno charts asap.Patience fellas.

We might bring the price down on these quite a bit depending on what sort of demand there is for it and what kind of deal we can get on buying bulk materials. But I am hoping to see these come down into the $1100 range but it wont be much less then that since the collectors are outrageously expensive and Burns doesnt give us any breaks on those. We pay full retail on those collectors!!!What a joke.

We could do a long tube header, for sure. Those would provide the biggest horsepower gains.

As far as Nismo and some of the other ebay headers I have seen....our qaulity is much better then theirs. Our materials are much better then the Chinese stainless. Our flanges are thicker. We have the ability to change runner diameter(which nobody else offers). For example these headers have 1 3/4" primaries instead of the typical 1 5/8" primaries that all the other header companies use.The "cool" collector is actually the key to generating a broad powerband! So there is alot more to it then just being another set of headers.

I understand burns are expensive and the ****. Most of the people that commented dont know that I think. BUt at that price point with proven competitors for cheaper there wont be much of a market for them on the Z.

Gorgeous pieces tho.

Longtubes FTW! Whichever company brings a quality longtube design first will reap the rewards.

I appreciate you bringing a new quality product to the platform, but at this point making new shorty headers is kind of like trying to reinvent the wheel. I agree most headers out now (especially the ebay ones) really don't compare to yours, but there are other quality headers out there for the same price. Crawfords come to mind as such, despite their dated design.

I look forward to dynos! I really hope these break the myth that shorties are not worth the trouble of install.

Unless you are talkin about the Megan/OBX/Old Xerd knockoffs...
I am not aware of any.
SGM has been working on one for a while but it's been so long since there have been any updates on it.
Fast Intentions expressed interest in making one but nothing yet.
There is also a company in Italy that makes some but I don't know if they have ever been tested or exist.

What are these knockoffs of if there's nothing on the market?

Interested in the long tubes. Have the generic Megan's on my car and do not believe I will see the gain without a cleaner collector design. It's going to be a toss up between SG, SFR, and Supersprint, for me.

Sending you a PM.

Take a look at some of the pics of the Crawford headers on google. There is no comparison to ours. And I dont think of it as reinventing the wheel. It is more like releasing a new ultimate grip compound tire for the wheel!

but not without pretty significant gains for that price. SH LTs are what 1500? And has been proven to how pretty significant gains. I just dont really understand why u guys would try and go after the shorty header market.

Beautiful piece. I've dealt with Burns and SPD before building custom headers, and there's no doubt that thier pieces are top notch, but you pay for it. GL, most on here would never spend the money.

Xerd was the oldest but no longer exists as far as I know. It wasn't a great design. The other two companies headers' are very similar.

I agree. Not taking anything away from your design. As a (former) Crawford header owner, I definitely think your design is nicer for flow and has a very highly regarded collector. Since Crawfords will run you 1,000ish anyway, I definitely see an advantage with yours. Just tryin to nudge you (or anyone for that matter) to make a nice set of longtubes with a good collector.
Do your shorties clear the Revup steering rack? Crawfords don't clear well.
