You could work with it to "wrap around" the timing cover. I think anything that decreases the bend from TB to plenum will increase velocity/horsepower.

If the runners are longer than stock and the volume is smaller than stock, expect to see losses and peak power being made below 6250rpm. I'm curious to know how much R&D was done with these key points in mind.
I don't know the engineering that was involved in making this intake, I'm just paying for it. haha!

If you wanted specifics you'd have to contact streetsolutions.com and ask.

Ok correct me if I'm wrong but I see what Citris pointed out with the 2 choke points... I may be either a complete moron or I'm just pointing out the obvious but why hasn't anyone made an intake mani where the throttle body is relocated and throttle body pipe to the front of the intake many similar to the LS V8's. I've seen Vipers and Vettes that have large short piping. Idk... just a thought.
sooo your calling john@z1 a liar??

and I did take my advice i own one and have owned it for about 3 years now.

were you have probably never even looked at one in real life or have taken a ride in a car that has it. You just jump on the band wagon with everyone else on this websight and talk **** about something because your freinds, freinds, uncles older brothers grandma said she lost power with the "old version" so that must mean the new one sucks just as bad right?

Waiting on a few new sets of nitrous jets and then we can schedule.

I am in love with this manifold, I have something REALLY similar sketched up on paper, but after looking at yours, it looks like a huge pain in the @$$ to install this thing! It looks like you couldn't even get a ratchet on the screws on the passenger side of the manifold!

Actually there are only two bolts that are hard to get at but the replacement hardware used on this manifold makes it really easy to secure. The swap from stock to this piece takes about 25 minutes, tops.

Thanks for keeping the interest alive guys!

I have this finished piece sitting in a safe place at my house waiting for a good day to do the dyno.

With work and being a full time student it's tough to find a couple days to take off to travel 4 hours each way for a dyno day. I'm thinking spring break now... (March 3-11)

I made this one a few years, ago always liked the velocity stacks don't know if it made more HP change too many things at the same time. I like what you are working on that design has been proven to make power on the super and RB. If you can get some numbers I would definitely be interested.

Will you dyno just for nitrous or on and off nitrous? And what are you tuning with?
