Default UK - Where to get reasonably priced exhausts (£400-£600 MAX)

Hi there,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I just purchased a 2004 350z. Initially I had planned to get the Nismo exhaust, but it looks like it was far more expensive that I thought. (web prices came back at £1200-1500).

I saw a scorpion exhaust and k1 and k2 but they looked too big (4") and sounded cheap to me (maybe youtube just doesnt do them justice) Those were priced at around £350 etc but I would prefer something a bit better and perhaps a smaller exhaust (2.5-3").

I was wanting to know where to buy, or at least what brand to buy for an exhaust, which is around £500 and sounds as close to the nismo as possible. I like the exotic/ high pitched scream more than the low base tone.

Thanks in advance.

PS. Off topic - the model I bought has leather seats, cruise control and buttons on either side of the steering whee (as opposed to just 3 buttons down one side of the streering wheel)l. Is that an enthusiast or touring?

It's not as simple as what exhaust to buy. I am specifically searching for exhausts within a specific price range, something the search facility in this site doesnt compliment as I have already tried.

As I am on a budget of around £500 inc. fitting, I'd appreciate answers from UK people only please.

Looking for medium/high pitched tone which would pass an emissions test.

If you dont understand, please send me a PM and I will clear things up with you.

not many in that price range as most Z parts are as im sure you know from japanese brands so a little more pricey than for other cars, best bet is would be either custom or used.
if were doing it again (might still swap ) id find one i liek the look and sound of and just get a custom made copy !
failing that cobra or miltek are a popular and around your pirce range although a little above
