Nope, 03 Touring MT - we just hit 60k earlier this year. Does my shifting sound odd?

AH I knew something was missing. The shifting just sounded weird. Thought he was perpetrating like he had a stick so no one would say anything. I have the Invidia N1 which is the same exhaust and an M2 Y pipe. I have TPs sitting in the closet (along with coilovers), but I refuse to even attempt installing them because if I snap a bolt or something, I'll cry...

I didn't think anyone else would try this combo besides me! I love it too man but the drone is a bit crazy. I'm running arts>xyz/resonator>topspeed. The cat piece is pricey just to cover up some of the sound :/

Yeah, I hadn't seen anyone else with the set-up, I was also considering the Nismo S-Tune axle-back section instead of TopSpeed but the only stuff I could find was dented up, too expensive, no part-out, etc.

That's all I ever heard about the TopSpeed; "It's loud as hell," and "Drone!" but having it now, I have to say it's really up to the set-up. I barely get any drone and it's only loud if I let it rev over 4k-ish. Then again, my idea of loud/drone is surely different than what some can tolerate.

Anyhow, I didn't just choose the Cat module for the sound, I really didn't want to drive around without one at all, even though we don't have emissions testing here. I did get a really good deal on it, too.

if you dont think the topspeed is too loud, then you're better off with having not gotten the nismo exhaust. It's barely louder than stock and you probably wouldve wished you had gotten topspeed.
