Default Installing the Popcharger

Ok guys so I received my JWT Popcharger a week or so ago and it's just been sitting. I am finally thinking of installing it tomo with a friend. I am a total newb when it comes to working on your car and stuff.

So I am just looking on some advice/suggestions as to how I should go abouts doing this. Anything to keep in mind...precautions...caveats etc

Thanks for your time guys.

Extremely simple installation.
Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

I recommend copious amounts of alcohol

And I'm pretty sure there's a really good DIY thread for it. GL

Ok guys I am having a problem.

Is the heat shield necessary? I've tried and tried but just can't get the screws in it to stick to the air duct of the car. So my question is if I don't put the heat shield and just install the popcharger, would it be okay?

Just the lower pinch screws are needed, mine is not screwed into the factory duct. As mentioned above, YES the heat shield is very needed.

That's the one I can't get the shield to screw to. Can't get an angle on the screw right to be able to bolt it through the air duct and heat shield. I think I am just going to place the heat shield there and not screw it, it seems to be snug enough.

Anyone know where I can buy the MAF sensor housing? Just the plastic tube bit that stores the housing. It's the part that bolts to the air filter at one side and the intake tube on the other. I tightened it too much and it broke from of side of the bolts.

Where can I buy that part from?

Thanks

This part exactly...don't need the sensor part though cause my old one is fine and can be screwed on to the new housing I am sure....
