Default Yet another test pipe rattle thread

Ok, Installed my berk test pipes a few months ago, the rattling is really the most annoying thing ive ever heard. Ive located the rattling, i had my dad rev the car when i was looking under it..Its the x pipe (right after the flex joints) hitting the floor pan. I pulled down on the pipe while he was revving and it stopped so im 98% positive its the cause. I was thinking of somehow cushioning the test pipe so it doesnt rattle and hit the floor pan. Can i use radiator hose to do this? I figured its thick and it should withstand the heat from the test pipe. Or does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks a lot guys!

btw my set up is berk test pipes and invidia gemini true dual.

Rubber will deteriorate. How about thermal wrap?

im afraid if i wrap it, it will absorb water and rust out the pipe.

I would wrap if I were you.
Because the Berk TP's should be stainless steel..
Im sure the test pipes get hotter than radiator fluid.
Custom fabing the tp's could be out of the question
depending on how much you have to support our hobby.
so nismo and its a wrap. haha Good luck

Wierd. Wonder why your exhaust is hitting the body. I don't remember mine being that close. What exhaust?

its an invidia gemini and its just the xpipe hitting the body right after the test pipe flanges near the flex pipes.

Ive had nismo headers and catback exhaust onfor awhile, sounded great! But i wanted more tone, so i installed test pipes with some sort of resonator or somthing on them. There seems to be no metal to metal contact but i have a terrible rattling noise on decel and and accel, any help?

you prolly have the same problem as up above, get under there and see if the heat shield is close to the tp's and shake it to see if they could be vibrating on eachother.
