Anyone know how to convert or a list of what = equals what in different countries?
I have no clue, however, it is an interesting topic...I will look into it and get back to you.

So the FULL Ti exhaust goes for $3000 USD? I have test pipes already but would sell them to get the catless Y-pipe.

OMG that is absolutely gorgeous. I've been thinking of getting an exhaust system for a while now and this might be the one for me. Can anyone confirm though about the CEL appearing because of the exhaust? Thats pretty disconcerning. Otherwise I'm pretty much sold on it.

yes, you will get the CEL when you install this exhaust due to the fact you must remove an emissions canister for fitiment; i am wondering if you could relocate this canister and see if that would eliminate the CEL problem..

otherwise, yes this exhaust is second to none

"Check Engine Light".
It stays on when you don't have your sensors attached to your cats

Depends. Do the JDM ones have that emmsions cannister at the rear like the US cars? It has to be removed to clear the muffler. I believe that's what's causing the CEL. FWIW the Australian cars don't have it so there's a good chance the JDM ones don't either.

That is correct, no Japanese 350Z's came with that canister box. Thats the only bad part buying a exhaust meant for a JDM 350Z. Watch out guys, Although I would rip that box out in a second if I could get the AMUSE

Do the other JDM exhausts work this way too? Meaning that besides that canister or whatever, I could run any JDM exhaust on my Z? Oh man if that's the case time to look through my hyper rev mag one more time.

there may be fitiment issues due to the fact that these cars do have differences....also, their emissions standards are not as strict as US so the parts are engineered for JDM specs

Hey Inspires,
That is one sweet ZR! Wondering how loud the Amuse is under normal driving relative to stock or other aftermarket systems. I have a roadster and am concerned the exhaust note may be too loud (its my daily driver). I'd be running with stock y pipe and cats. Any comparisons would be appreciated.

The Amuse is quiet at idle. It's more of a deep rumble when you get on the gas from 2k-3k. When you go WOT on the freeway, it does get a little louder but still deep. Hard to describe the sound. But it does sound good and it's not too loud overall. It's more of a enhancement to the stock exhaust tone!
After having the injen, nismo, stillen exhaust on my car as well as heard borla, RSR, tanabe in person, I still think this exhaust is the best sounding of the bunch. Of course, it is in a different class of exhaust as the aforementioned

and yes, I'm still lagging on the write up on how to relocate the canister. It is possible to use this exhaust on a US spec car without CEL.

anyways, looks like you're in santa clara, if you want, come out to one of the local meets, you can hear how it sounds!

Wow,

How the hell did I miss this thread! Man, I put my car away for the winter and take a month off from visiting the board(checking it just about everyday is not good, but this site is so addicting) and look what got posted! I even have a GB on the exhaust, no wonder all of you were asking about the other amuse stuff, man i fell dumb now... oh well, that is beautiful, now if I can only get a couple more people!

Looking forward to your future post whatever
