Default Cold air intake on a manual 350z?

Hey wondering wether to buy a cold air intake for my 03 manual 350z.
Before i do though, what are good sites to buy one, and the pros and cons of getting one...
Also since my car is manual will the car turn off with the new performance part it does not recognize? Thanks!

I have the INJEN intake (installed by previous owner).
NO issues at all.

Pro:
Sounds cooler.
Some (not much) inprovement in performance
Re-usable (saves some $ over the life).

Con:
None.

^What he said....so much burning in store!

Just go to google.

edit: I'm feeling generous

Pros:
-cooler denser air inters your engine at a greater volume = a few more hp (not much though)
-sounds better

Cons:
-nothing

the end; that's seriously it.

well i might as well say something before the flaming. Search is your friend. Use it. There are hundreds of intakes out there so figure out your price range and look around in the vendor section. and your Z being a manual has nothing to do with anything. autos and manuals have the same intake. just make sure its in your year range (03-05). your car will still recognize the CAI if you make sure to plug in the MAF sensor. but search around. theres a great thread of the top 100 FAQ's. read it. then read it again

I don't even know where to start...

1. You won't gain any performance
2. If you want a cool sound to scare people on park benches get the Injen (you will actually lose perf because it is way to long of an intake pipe)
3. Start reading to learn about cars and how they work... your car will not turn off because you added some air intake tubing and a filter, and being manual vs auto has nothing to do with anything.
4. Search
