I had a motordyne xyz with megan racing v2 tps and a 21/2in stainless steel piping with resonator into hks carbon ti muffler. It sounded amazing with that set-up i recently sold my xyz to a friend and now i have the 370z hr y and it sounds alot different, so ima just go with a custom y-pipe.

I installed the HR style Megan Y-pipe today. Like AcidJake mentioned, you have to remove a couple plastic pieces held on by some small bolts. The piece doesn't really serve any purpose as far as I can tell - maybe aero? Other than that, everything bolts up just fine. I can't really comment on sound or performance, because I just switched from a custom Magnaflow true dual to an AP single + Megan Y-pipe.
