Default Hks full dual

So im warming up my car and because its cold out, i realized only right side of the exhaust is letting out steam of fume. Left side (driver side) very slightly comes out. Umm this is a true full dual so idk why this is happening n i had the exhaust for about 6 months n i dont recall if my stock Y pipe did this or not.

To my knowledge, some cars have the exhaust circulate so it will warm up quicker but i thought that was only on very old cars... Help me out guys thanks in advance!!

isn't that just because the air coming out of the car is warmer than the air outside? Don't all cars do that? Unless I'm reading this wrong it seems normal lol

once you are under load it evens out. If you monitor both banks for A/f you will see that one is leaner then the other at idle.

this is of course assuming that there is nothing wrong.

Nissanz03 - no not just the steam part but i said only ONE side of exhaust comes out on my FULL DUAL exhaust

Barnabas - what do u mean other side is leaner than the other? It can make leaner air fuel on the other 3 cylinders? U sure about that?.. Hmm anyways thanks for the input guys! I wish more people wouldve posted to back u up or something then obviously theres nothing wrong wit my car. Or basically i can also ask, does ur car do this?

there are a few threads on it you can read about it. but yes basically that is what it does. not sure why and nothing is harmed or bad because of it. All cars with dual exhaust will have one side that "smokes" a little more then the other in cold weather.

Also its an xpipe so at idle the exhaust just kinda flows through and at the X it can go wither way. It isnt a straight pipe from each bank. So more can go one way if it wants to since it has not been pressurized or forced to have to utilize both pipes.

Tons of cars even with OEM exhausts do this..... Just something with the physics of how the exhaust gasses flow and tend to preference one side.

Nothing to be worried about.
