Default Option for Borla stuff???

Local guy is selling Borla ceramic headers & True Dual exhaust for $1K. Both items are new and never installed. Is this a good price? If so, is it worth upgrading from my current setup (Turbo XS exhaust). I love the way my exhaust sounds, but I'm truely after performance at the moment. What recommendations do you guys have for other exhaust items to compliment the Borla stuff...downpipe?, remove resonators?, anything?

any advice would be greatly appreciated

sounds like a good deal. but if you already have an exhaust that you like why not stick with it and use the money elsewhere. gains from exhaust and headers are minimal.

gains from exhaust to exhaust are pretty much non existant, if you like the exhaust stick with it. That 1K would def be spent better elsewhere.

i have a borla exhaust and love it but i agree use the 1k else where like giving it to me.haha

if you like what you have and how it sounds stick with it and headers from what ive read and seen really arent worth the time and money for "normal" bolt ons

Oh dear. THe history of Borla headers goes back years. There is good reason why the headers are in a box instead of on the car.

Yea, I would pass.

The exhaust is great but you already have one that will do the same job, gains would be minimal at best.

The headers are possibly the worst out, I believe the megans and nismo knockoff's are better than the borla's

Spend the 1k on test pipes and a tune.

The borla headers have been shown to actually lose power.

OP, as others have said, there are much better options!

Is your TurboXS the only mod you have?
