Default Just finished front mouth plenum :)

Well I bought this plenum off a cat on hybridZ about two years and was going to get around to it one day. Well that day finally came. This was built for a S13 VQ35DE twin turbo, so I have no idea if it will make power NA or even if the car will start, all it cost me was some quality time with the welder.

I need to make some modifications to the wiring harness and make a Intake for it. Hopefully I can get that done tomorrow or next week, and see about some dyno time? I'll keep y'all posted/.

It had a different top to it, just another piece of round tube like the two that are left, it really looked like a club froma poker deck. it was too tall for hood clearance, I removed the tack welds.

AS you can see, 6 velocity stacks

I cut down the third lobe of the club

Added a flat top

throttle body plate

clearing the timing chain cover, ftw. might need to clearance the timing chain cover a bit to get the TB motor to sit lower, right now it is just a test, this is only a test, if this was a .... LOL

how do you think the airflow to the rear cylinders will be?

what kind of finish are you going to put on it? need it powder coated?

similar to what the front cylinders get with the OE style? Guessing at best.

I'll finish it IF it makes power. Might do a black powder coat, God knows my welds need some disguise.

Off for some sushi and red box. Woohoo, titillating life

Most intake mannifolds slope going to the rear. For what I assumed to be accelerate airflow to the rear. You don't feel you need that?

To be honest, didn't come into mind. If this doesn't work (make power) then it becomes a flower pot. That's where I stand.

Good plan.

Maybe I'll ask you later about ideas on my 260Z and what I can do to bring it back to life. Right now, the engine is drained and almost ready to be taken out. I have an idea about cleaning it up after taking it apart, see what needs to be replaced, rebuild it, then try it out. That 2.6L really sucks.

Like i said last night eating Sushi I had an idea to clean up the routing. So I spent a while today with the welder. Now admittedly I am not the best welder in the world, but it staying together. I only starting playing with the welder a few months ago. This is way better welds than my first rodeo

If my week goes to plan, I can make the wiring changes and see if i will even crank, LOL. I have uprev so I can tweak a little bit if needed.

I put the MAF after the TB, but if for testing purposes it close enough
