good ol internet facts.. found posts showing OEM exh weight at 37.47lbs.. AND at 74 lbs.


guess you'll have to decide to bust out the bathroom scale.

But i have also seen advertising text showing the HKS saves 20-25 lbs over oem... but thats possibly just marketing for ya. who knows.

the rear section of the stock Z exhaust is a freaking pig. I would thing that you're saving some weight with the HKS.

Its a TWM satin M1 Abrams ball, ss extender, and TWM short shifter..
i cant imagine not having the extender on w any short shifter inthis car.. my synchros were nothy BEFORE already.. even worse now, but the extra leverage helps fer sure.

i saw it on one of their ads. HKS claimed it was 20lbs lighter than stock. Now that im not the only one that saw it, i remember seeing it as well.

i picked up superblack350z hks, went home and picked up the stock rear muffler alone. And to me the stock rear muffler felt heavier than the whole hks exhaust lol. The midpipe and ypipe in the stock exhaust isn't light either.


i used to have an XO2 exhaust, and i can tell you those are def. lighter than my stock
