Anyone have a DIY to replace top o2 sensors?

Default Anyone have a DIY to replace top o2 sensors?

Got a code and need to replace the top driverside o2 sensor. Did a search and didnt come up with anything. Anyone have a diy?

Unplug sensor, install 7/8 th wrench or O2 sensor socket over the 02 sensor and twist CCW. Then follow the direction in reverse for the install.

There are several DIY header and test pipe install threads. Same deal.

NOTE: For header install I recommend removing sensors AFTER catalytic converter is removed. This gives you lots of leverage with catalytic converter on a bench or secure in a vice. Here you may want to remove sensor with catalytic converter in place.

may have an easier time working from the top. make sure you get the correct sensors. revup's came with factory widebands and had different connections, so it it motor year specific
