Default JIC Spartan Exhaust won't fit, a ft to long

So last year I bought a JIC Exhaust from Ruthless18x, transaction went smoothly and the exhaust arrived looking great. However, with all the projects I had at the time (namely getting my 240 running/driving), soon winter was on us, the Z was in storage and I never got around to putting it on. Well this past weekend I blew off the dust from the system and tried to fit it up… the damn thing is a foot too long. It appears that my Y-pipe comes down a foot past where the Exhaust would like to meet up.
*
What am I missing? Does this only work with a JIC Y-pipe? Is it for a G35 or later year 350z? (I have a 2003) or am I just doing something horribly wrong?
*
This is the Semi-Titanium Spartan

Sounds like its for a G35, i do know he had a Z though. The year doesn't matter so much.

if you buy an X02 like i did for the 350z, it comes w extensions for the pipes to run the exhaust on a G35, and they are only about 8 inches long.

A foot too long? sounds weird.

Maybe it's 8, but it's certainly not just an inch or so.

Ruthless18x isn't on as much though... He's a good dude so when you get a hold of him, I'm sure he'll help you out.

What's the model #?

Did you try contacting JIC to confirm?

I'm not doubting him, but as I said he's IM is full and I'm rarely on this board, I'm not about to start MY350Z stalking him checking his login activity.

I'm just wondering if there is something about JIC I'm missing, but it doesn't seem that way.

It was certainly for a G. We ended up cutting out a section and re-welding the hanger. The bend is not as aggressive as it needs to be on the Z, but some fuel hose on the subframe and its not rubbing.

Hey I just saw this thread. I'm sorry man, I had no idea. It came with a PowerLab kit I bought back in 2010. I'm not sure if that kit was on a G though.
