Default Generic Vs. Price...

I have done my searches before posting and have not seen a thread about this. If there is one; I didn't see it.

New to the boards, new to the 350 and new to the Nissan in general. Long time Mitsubishi fan.

Just bought an 06' Enthusiast a week ago and I'm looking at exhaust systems.

I love Ebay and bought many of good things from it. While searching I came across a Hi-Power generic system with headers. Now like I said I'm a long time Mitsubishi owner and what I have learned is that the cars are very lenient on what you do to them, without much of a fuss.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with a generic system and if the car could possibly be bitchy if it didn't like something about it. I know its just an exhaust system, but I'm not sure how it would react with doing anything to it. Link below for system on Ebay.

Also plan on putting electronic dump tubes inline eventually.

Much thanks

Welcome. The quality vs price debate is as old as Jesus. If you are comfortable with a knockoff go for it.

To me it is, T304 Stainless is a great metal, not the lightest. But were maybe talking 4 to 6lbs compared to a much more expensive exhaust brand. 360$ comparable to $1600 not even being the most expensive. Or maybe im just being cheep

If you don't mind cheap stuff buy it, but, stick with exhaust and appearance mods. When it comes time to replace key components, go OEM. Buying generic sensors, accessories, etc is a waste of time and money.

Cheap exhaust, why not. test pipes NO , they will crack. Headers, oh hell no, very minor things in the design make power.

Just be picky in what you buy cheap.
