Hey guys,
I am in the market for a new exhaust and i am 95% sure the topspeed n1 is right for me. I love the way this exhaust sounds and I know it is loud and drones some on the highway, and my question is if i keep the stock Y pipe and cats, use an x pipe and use the included silencer will highway drone be nearly eliminated? My searches on this site suggest an x pipe will help tremendously with the droning. my original goal was a deeper than stock, non droning, and not raspy or ricey sound. When i was 16 I made the mistake of putting flowmasters on my old firebird and after a week of headaches i put the stock muffler back on. Needless to say i do not want to make this mistake again. Anyone's opinions who has owned or have heard this exhaust would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

lol hmm X pipe on plus a y pipe. cant be done. and they dont make topspeed no more. nvidia n1 is what your looking for. also your going to get drone with that exhaust almost no matter wat. i would recommend my set up with you want little drone(almost not even there but you can talk if needed with no problem) but a nice sound.

 

oh my mistake lol i meant stock y pipe and cats or a dual with a x pipe. i found a few online stores that still have the topspeed for sale i will look into your suggestions though thanks for the info!

 

well if you go true duel exhaust then topspeed out of the ? just fyi. most people go with a hks exhaust. but topspeed and nvidia n1 will give you drone, reason why i know my bed roomis over the garage and my brother had aam tp aam ypipe and nvidia n1 exhaust and well my whole room shook in the morning... but i love the vq sound so it didnt bother me that much.
