injectors in and new dyno sheet coming tomorrow.
total HP gain with tune 302.87hp and he is fixing a couple of things so tomorrow so will get the print out..
resonator comes in tomorrow and planning to install the y pipe and resonator with the rest of the exhaust after a local event here in austin.. there is a track here that doenst alow drifting but this track was bought out by a new owner and is allowing this event to happened.. they will be measuring exhaust on DeciBels and it needs to be under 99db from 30ft.. sorry to palce a little hold on this but just finished paying enough money on preparing to run these events..

Nice numbers! Yes 3in would be better I think SG used 3.5in on their race car with LTH.
I need to upgrade my exhaust the piping is smaller than my header collector which is 2.5.
What RPM did it start to pick up again after it dropped? Also your midrange compared to before is crazy!! Congrats!!
Have you driven it yet?

512_Z, Good result. Can you provide a dyno graph showing the RPM at the bottom? Just to be sure this is basically going from stock headers and cats to the LTH with tune, correct?
Denchan350gt, the tq gains are very nice but they look even more massive cause the scales are not same on both axiis with the TQ one being narrower than hte HP one. SGM's race car uses the 3.5" exhaust but that burnt orange Z they tested was using 3". Also both of those LTH are also different in piping diameter from the primary and collector. I think the only thing they have in common is total length and the stepped location. All of SGM LTH out there including mine are like the latter.

Torque curve looks a little weird because the forced scale features wasn't turned on so it doesn't look like most dyno graphs out there. However his stock TQ curve does have that strange huge drop of 50 right in the middle.
The R35 injectors actually are very good injectors to use, plug'n'play like the DW, but they are pricey. Doesn't matter if they are were on an FI car. I was originally going to get them as well but at ~$150 each i decided to skimp out and get the cheaper DW that was 600 shipped with a walbro 255. There was a review a few years ago comparing the spray pattern of the R35 injectors with Power Enterprise ones and some other ones and apparently the the R35 yielded better results. I think if you guys can get them for cheap then it's worth buying.

What is the diameter of a HR exhaust 2.5?
I can take a little loss down low for alot of top end like his my peak hp matches my before LT dyno with cams.
I know that the SG cars had 3in exhausts wish I had kept my MD VQ exhaust which was 3in to test this.
The step on the SG headers is closer to the heads it's not really that long compared to the PPE headers.

Do you think my exhaust size could be a factor? What size exhaust do you have? Maybe a y-pipe design is better than true dual with LT's on our car.

Might be hard to gain this much peak HP in your case since you were already running equal length headers, test pipes and tuned. Where as for him he was completely stock except for the intake and then moved to a brand new exhaust system (LTH and Y pipe). Also his HR is more rev friendly.
You are right, from eyeballing your PPE to the SGM, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference externally. I'm hoping that PPE comes up with a good solution and it'll be interesting to see the other guy on g35driver installing it on his DE to see how yours compares to it.
BTW, not sure if you notice but as i was looking at the LTH for the VHR, PPE and FI, I saw something that is reminiscent of your problem. Look at 4100 rpm.

Can this be the magical VVEL compensating down low and then switching over right around 4k rpm? Perhaps they copied the design from the VHR "too much" and with the lack of VVEL on the DE it left you dry. Hopefully 512_Z can post a clearer pic of his dyno so that we can get some insight. HTH.
