Default F&@$ing exhaust cracking everywhere after TP install!!!

I've never had an issue this FRUSTRATING since I've owned the car. Timeline:

Bought used Turboxs TPs. Paid $300 for install. Cracked 2 days later due to shitty bracket repair.

Bought Berks without brackets hoping the bracketless design would solve the issue. Same day mid pipe separated from the resonator.(invidia N1 dual). Then the next day the hanger brok out of the midpipe. Mad noisy and a pain to drive.

Got both rewelded and then I noticed the passenger rear muffler had a rattle at 3000RpM. Fine whatever I can live with it.

Two weeks later I have a tinny sounding rattle at 2000 rpm. Turns out the resonator canister itself had cracked and the Splitter for the mufflers had broken along with the Invidia sign that acts as a brace between the Splitter. Got all of that welded up yesterday.

Now I have a rattle at idle which sounds like it could be the passenger side TP or that side of the Y pipe. I'm so f king frustrated with this car right now. The Englishtown Nj show is next week and I don't know if I'll have it fixed in time. I wanted to do my coilovers this week but I don't want to drop it til the exhaust is straight.

What do I do here??? Should the midpipe have a second hanger on it? Besides the mufflers, that is the only support. The rattle is making me want to punch babies, please offer some tips!

Torrey

I know this sounds horrible, but if you want peace of mind, buy all new stuff (except the tp's, they probably are okay). All new gaskets too. Better to shoot your racehorse that has the broken leg rather than put a cast on it hoping it'll get better.

Stillen y-pipe is $135 new, and it's fast.

BUT

I had a nasty rattle, I didn't know what the hell it was, sounded like your car's symptoms, and it turns out the mechanic didn't use the right gaskets and were held on with one bolt too few on each side.

When you bought your new stuff, did you get new gaskets??? Mechanics will just use what they have if you don't supply them.

My midpipe has one hanger that splits into two hooks., but thats the Greddy single.

Good luck, let us know. Nothing is worse than those death rattles. I've had 'em after every install, but I'm good now!

The cracking is bound to happen in short order if things are allowed to sit tweaked. The best way to do these things is drop the whole exhaust, install the test pipes, reinstall the exhaust. More often than not if you try to just do a simple swap things end up a tad crooked and overstressed causing the cracking
$300 to install test pipes is insane but that's a whole other topic

My APS tests, from Z1 were and remained PHUGGIN awesome, and the install took about and hour and a half, with mere swapping in and out pieces...hell I even used the old oem gaskets and she is sitting pretty

yeah, I'm thinking about dropping everything but the TPs, examining and reinstalling... So damn annoying I swear. I don't want to pounce on a new exhaust yet as I could possibly be buying a turbo setup here soon.
