Finally installed th TDX with the ART Pipes

I allowed my buddy to take his turn to test drive, his comment of WOW says it all. ;-)

These two new mods certainly brought her back to life. The drive feels just like when i first got her...its like a new car all over again.

Nah, but it sounds good man. I loved my motordyne exhaust when I had it. Always great products from Tony. Congrats!

 

Mine's louder

Nice to see a completely different exhaust setup and a beautiful sounding car! Sounds nothing like mine, but very sick.

I absolutely love the sound. I had the Helix on for a short while before I installed the ART Pipes and that set up is FREAKISHLY LOUD!

 

well i went V1 bc i was told its louder. I have helix now and didnt go ART route bc again i was told it would be quieter. Im kinda bummed out. I was thinking adding LTs to the equation but maybe i need to swap out more

 

Yeah I'm definitely glad I already ordered the ART Pipes and only had the Helix on for a day. I love the GROWL especially at start up...driving down the road everyone is looking to see what's coming but wouldn't be able to take it for a long period it was LOUD.

Is the V1 with Helix pipes not loud enough for you?

 

V1 with test pipes extremely loud and sounds like God. Best sound out of a Z that I have ever heard.

im hoping to find a used V2.. op can you post a pic showing the exhaust? im trying to figure out how big the canisters are.

 

v1 + Helix is straight SEXZ

 

If some of you guys like loud, I can bring back the V1. No rasp, but be aware it does drone.

Then I can also do a R.F.L. version of test pipes. Straight test pipes can also be designed in such a way to maximize loudness if that's the objective.

Well Tony u know what i like. I want loud but not like i use to. I really thought the v1 would be louder than the V2 and the TDX which is why i waited to find a used one. Also more info of these said test pipes. I really think that longtube headers will really bring the exhaust note up to where i want it. If anyone remembers Hotelcrazy and his G35 with MR LTs and MD V1 sounded like sex.

 

Is the V2 a lot quieter than V1? I love the sound of V1 and sure can sacrifice a little droning for a more aggressive and louder sounding exhaust.

 

No. The V2 is only marginally quieter than the V1 and neither has rasp. The big difference is in the drone.

The V2 does't drone. If you want a loud, deep and clear sounding exhaust, the V2 does it all.
