We are not a replica company. If HKS were the first to come out with a Helmholtz Resonator technology, that would be one thing. However this is what we have been R&D'ing since the start of this production. We enhanced everything. We made it better. In addition, you have to understand, there are only so many ways to make exhaust designs for the 350z. Every company has to follow the OEM underbody exhaust lines. I honestly do not want to Argue with a member of the community. But we have done our best to differentiate our exhaust from others in sound, Quality, and even overall performance.

You can do that, but from our experience, this will cause a lot of drone and possibly even more rasp. In addition, its not just the design with the X flow. Its the thickness of the pipes and where certain bends are placed that may affect the overall outcome of the sound of the exhaust.

that is actually the next thing that we were planning to do. Seeing that the 350z trend seems to be moving towards Forced Induction and major NA builds. Im guessing everyone is either getting out of their warranty or just having the urge for more power.

We are trying something different right now.
Ypipe merge with our X flow chamber -- Non Resonated --- True dual all the way back to our new twin loop muffler design. Most of the unwanted exhaust sound would be eliminated in the rear muffler section. Mated with our 370z tips which is Dual layered tips.

The VQ tone would be preserved by our Xflow chamber. With the pipes being non resonated it should create a more distinct tone and of course drone will have to be taken care of by the mufflers as stated above. Its better if I can show you a picture but this is just from the top of my head.

So this isn't a "true dual" exhaust then?

If you consider incorporating a xpipe not a true dual, It is not. As stated, its all in the drawing boards so no pics. However once the prototype is finished, we will be sure to post up some pictures.
