Default Ooops? Installing JWT Dual Pop Charger

lol was about done installing it on my 08 350z, and when i drilled the last hole... it went threw and nicked the top plastic part of the radiator. Should i be worried? it didnt drill a hole in it.. but it did nick the top of it and has a little "gash". I knew to be careful of this and it still happend.. and literally on the last part of the install sigh

The car is totaled...

j/k as long as the core is not punctured it should be fine. I would keep an eye out for a leak and also keep an eye on your temp.

Sounds like a superficial mishap anyway, you should be fine.

its dark outside now, so ill take a pic tomorrow and post it up, it looks like when u drill a hole into a piece of wood, when ur about to start drilling but pull away and see the little indent type thing, its not that deep but than again idk how thick that plastic is on top of the radiator up there

edit: oh yeah is there like some liquid plastic or something i could buy to fill in that little gash? or is it not even worth bothering?

Wait why were you drilling? I did the install with hand tools in less than 10 mins. Hardest part was trying not to burn my hand on a hot engine.

u drill 2 holes to secure the heat shields with a bolt each.. the plastic piece above the radiator.. when i went threw it (like butter) i couldnt stop it from hitting the top of the radiator (plastic part).. i did fine the first hole.. but the second hole i drilled.. it went through and ended up hitting =/ i was gonna take a pic today but was too busy i was thinking of just putting a little bit of JB Weld on the nick... it hardens and can take temps of 600 degrees. but it isnt leaking atm so i dont think it would start to leak? maybe im wrong.
