Wow, a half second gain is not bad at all. I'm disappointed in the stock G though. I thought they ran mid-to-low 14's stock.

Right now I have the silencers on and it's still sounds very deep and aggressive. It's definitely not as loud as without silencers but you can still be heard. I've been too lazy to take off the silencers lately because of the cold, but I'm starting to like it with silencers on as far as the level of loudness is concerned.

Maybe you should take a look at the title of the thread? And maybe the title of SHIFT_Z's video, and maybe even throughout every post referencing it as the Pro-1 exhaust.

Thanks. Maybe I can take a drive down to Jersey to hear it some time. I'll be on vacation for a few weeks and will try to coordinate something with you when I get back. That is if it's OK with you.

Yeah I think the track was just slow for us. The other G's that went w/ use didn't run too well either.

Have you guys with this exhaust heard the clip a member posted of the RS*R with silencers? I'm wondering if this exhaust sounds the same as that one with the silencers on. Please let me know.

Check the elevation of the track as well as temp of the day this plays a huge part in your times. I've known guys who have had over a sec. taken off their times cus they went to a track with higher elevation on a hot day.

Well, I finally got a chance and got it Dyno last Saturday at one of the local TRD shop equipped with DynoJet. ! It is mine very first Dyno as well. Unfortunately there weren't as many Z came out that day But it was very cool that we had at least a stock Z to compare with. The stock Z had a max of 235rwhp after 3 pulls. And there were another z member that had a max of 249rwhp w/ stock exhaust, test pipes, and Injen CAI. And I was very impressed with that. I was hoping mine could get close to 250, but after 3 pulls, I had a max of 245rwhp/239 Max Tqe.

Since I'm kind of new to the Dyno pulls, could someone help me explain to me where is mine torque range at and how is my A/F ratio look?
One thing the owner of the shop did mention is that my z was the only one that ran very consistantly, I'm not sure where he see that? Can someone explain that to me , thanks.
Overall I was very please that I was gaining, and not losing HP, especially that I'm running a 3" pipe. But I think I'm definitely will switch to AEM or NISMO CAI later on.
I wish I could take some video or picture of it, but I didn't have my camcorder with me, and my digicam was out of battery damn it!!!!
But there's one thing I was really happy about, is that everyone love the way the exhaust sound!! (there were a lot of MR2 guys out there )

Default PIX of the Pro-1

It is not a true dual. It is a Y-pipe back exhaust.

Thumbs up very nice

Great clips!

That exhaust and looks and sounds VERY similar to the Invidia Exhaust. I'll eventually post some clips of it too, it's a good idea that way people can really get an idea of the different types out there. But yeah I'll second what AFitchTLS said, and does anyone know some numbers for those exhausts? Especially Invidia if you have it!

I'm going to get my car dynoed probably later this month or early Feb, my car is stock except for the exhaust (power mods that is)
Unfortunately I never got my car dynoed when it was bone stock, so I wont have a baseline number

thanks again for the clips

I'm glad someone cleared that up before I did.
I bought it because it was advertised at my350z.org as a "catback" exhaust with no pics of the total exhaust layout and was told over the phone that it was a catback.
INDEED it is NOT a catback exhaust.
It would've been pretty silly for me to go with a stock Y-Pipe with this 3" exhaust, Crawford Highflow Cats and Crawford headers, so I bought a Fujitsubo Y-Pipe with a 3" collector to go with it.
I can't believe it's still listed as a catback on the site...VERY misleading to say the least.
Can you tell I'm not pleased at how this exhaust was sold to me...I sure hope so
[/end rant]

Now...do I like the way it sounds?
Heck yeah...it sounds like the Z was given a healthy dose of steroids. However, I still don't like being misled.

Wow, that's an impressive list of mods. you put together. I've heard the video of the exhaust and thought it sounded great by itself but was wondering how much louder yours is with the Y-pipe, cats, etc. I am considering this setup but your opinion on how much louder it is with these other mods. would be appreciated. What does your butt dyno tell about the car now with these upgrades?

Also, have you done any video clip with these mods? I would love to see and hear what your car is like now.

Thanks for your input.
