See this is an option, a test pipe that is resonated - any brand recommendations for the loudest / best sound?

A guy in my area with a brand new Nismo 370Z did the "washer mod" to his exhaust and loves it. He's 19 years old and bought the car with trust fund money.

Eliminate the ypipe, midpipe and muffler with a Magnaflow X pipe.

I don't understand, your saying this guy just ran a custom made straight pipe to the 2 exhaust tips?

I can assure you it's rough enjoyment! Adding a single/straight pipe would make it more civilize yet, scream at WOT

the VQ engine note is hypnotic with no muffler/resonaters/cats!

yeah, Ive been watching videos all day - kinda thinking I might try some Megan test pipes to start, I really like the look of my stock exhaust right now, and the test pipes make it louder, hopefully with the resonated ones like megan it will be less raspy Im thinking..

I only thought megan because they have the resonators, but saw all of the bad reviews after; the pipes with good reviews seem to all be non-resonated, but I guess thats what I'll get - now thinking berk or strup, guess Ill deal with the rasp.

From what I can tell Berk has the non-foulers built into their pipes now as the 02 inlet is extended off the pipe an inch, can anyone confirm this?

Just copy the GTM Spec 3" cat-back exhaust.

Yeah pretty much. its the loudest exhaust option.

This is what i meant by the video. He eliminated everything, put 2.25" piping from cats to two inlets on the magnaflow muffler, run two outlet pipe to 4" tips.

Berk claim to have it built in by they still throw CEL. Not to mention they aren't the best quality thing out there. Try ART pipes if you got the money. Then again you are looking for a cheap route.

Take it from me, if you love your car gets the best you can for her, don't be scared of the price. People pay for whats worth it (also because of bandwagoning). Bottom line is do your hw on here and you'll find that Motordyne is the only way to go.
