My Ichiba resonated test pipe blew apart on the way to work this morning.. 70 MPH... called them, they WONT COVER IT...

I know their not a "great part" company.. but they are 5 months old...

no warranty... unless I buy them direct from them... BS...

to be fair, i dont think it "blew apart" from pressure.
I think it ripped apart from the tourque on acceleration... porly designed part.

 

Cut it open and you'll have a decent pencil holder

They don't offer any kind of limited warranty at all for brand new parts regardless who you bought it from?

 

Looks like the crappy weld broke...and people talk crap about OBX welds...I would never thing the ichiba ppl would give one such issues, Their stuff is their stuff no matter whom you bought it from, my advice keep calling. its been my experience that companies do this to keep costs down ( sprint tried doing this when i bought my phone off Amazon wireless, they did not want to connect it, though amazon is a participating vendor)

threaten to call the BBB if they dont help you with this.

And yes, at least it was a cheap part.. and not something else...
I've had open headers before on a chevy BB 468 (454 .30 over)
It was loud... this was just a "unbalanced" loud.. to unbalanced to be "cool" at the strip.
