Default Vote for Best HFC for our engines!

Hi Guys,

I have an 06 G coupe but I know we have the same engine and I know the Z owners are alot more performance oriented so I thought I'd ask here as well...

Which do you guys think is the best HFC out there for our cars?

I posted a list of HFC i found for the G and the current prices...

Thanks!

Which one would you say has the best quality/best performance/best bang for buck out of all these options?

What does "best" mean? Reliability? We have seen $500 catalytic converts fail with 10,000 miles, and $300 ebay converters with 50,000 plus miles.

We learn nothing from subjective "best" polls.

Best in terms of quality and performance....how is it subjective if people can give their opinions on weather they bought one of these and noticed bad craftsmanship or maybe they dyno tested one and got/didnt get the results they expected, etc....

The point is to get opinions and thoughts about the ones people consider to be the best quality and most reliable for our cars...theres definitely brands that are better for certain cars versus other cars etc....

The best HFC is a test pipe.

Looking for info on HFC....already had TPs dont really want all that smell, passengers complain alot...plus I'd rather have a HFC instead of TP at this point even if it is a bit less power...

I can't say these are the best but I just got stillen HFC's for my HR.
I'll tell you know its hella louder. Before I was running just the motordyne exhaust and loved the sound. I just put the Stillens on tonight and its hell of a lot louder. Havent driven it yet so I'll prob chime in again tomorow or in 3 months when they break but for now I don't have much more than that ahaa

If I had to get another kind I would look into the berks....always review good...
From the looks of the poll most would agree as well.

I'll chime in only to say that I just passed CA smog with my Berk HFC's. Barely...I hit 49ppm at 25mph and the max is 50ppm. All HFC's are technically illegal in CA because they don't pass visual, but if the smog tester doesn't check then it's just up to the sniffer test.

I understand the *sniffer* will soon be a thing of the past in Ca. OBD 100%.

Looks like Berk has the decisive lead in this case. I'll be almost definitely going with a pair next summer.
