Catalytic / Test pipe question
I've recently acquired a 2006 350z with an APS twin turbo kit. It also has an APS 2.5" exhaust kit that has test pipes on it. Since I would like to use it on the street and register the car, I have to switch out the test pipes with some cats. Plus I really hate the smell that comes off the car with no cats.
So, my question is if I wanted to install cats, are they all the same size? I'm hoping that I don't have to find an APS one because I guess they no longer sell to north America. Could I buy a set of HFC, like Stillen, and have it fit with the rest of the APS system?
Sorry about the newbie question but I don't know much about exhausts other than ones that you buy as a kit. Thank you for any information you can provide!

Much cheaper and better for power to weld in a universal bullet cat downstream (either in the Y or even further downstream). The further down, the longer it will take to heat up and start working, but it will be less power hit with the turbos. You can get a pair of 3" metal cats for under $300 (100 or 200 cell) and probably $100 to get them welded in by an exhaust shop.

The body kit is the Tourenn kit and spoiler. The fit and finish is kind of meh.
