Hey everyone, Im pretty new to the Z scene but just left the G scene so Im familiar with these cars, just got a 07 Grand Touring two days ago, and Im wondering which exhaust is better... Fujitsubo or Nismo? I heard that Fujitsubo is more quiet and doesnt drone while Nismo is louder and drones like a ****? I like Fujitsubo but Nismo seems more legit, feedback would be good. Also if there are other better systems do tell! And also, what do you guys think about the OEM Rays wheels (18s in front 19s in back) for the GT models? too heavy?
That would be up to you... I can advise on the Fuji and Nismo because I've owned both. I'll have a Motordyne XYZ Y-Pipe, ART Pipes, and a Nismo on the car when I return.
I have a Nismo catback...no drone problems. Its a matter of preferance.I like to go with the same manufacturer if the look,fit,sound...works.The Nismo has a great sound.Fits like a glove--easy install.Link it with a good CAI(POPCHARGER),you have a very balanced sound. The quality is excellent, too.
What kinda budget do you have?As a "new" owner, you may be in the dreamin
stage. The RAYS are gonna cost you...
yeah haha uh well maybe around 2k. I always loved the sport rims for the G, my G didnt have them =[, and i found a pic not too long ago of a guy with those on his Z. As of now i have the Rays on my Z since its the GT model, but i just dont like the little indents on the spokes. Looks kinda strange. I could always trade or sell those first if it comes to it. I think the 370z rays are nice on a 350 as well, saw a few pics of that.
get nismo with hfc. I installed the nismo today, and it sounds like quiet sex, needs more loud!!
That's how I feel about my HKS.
It sounds so effing nice when I stomp on the gas.
The air flow passes right through the HKS cans.
Regular driving is... ehhh. Definitely needs HFC's or TP's.
