Just called JWT since I am local and they wanted $140 for the pop charger (normally $179). I guess I'll have to order it from perf. nissan instead

Agreed, but the baseline was done the same way, and its the difference that I am happy with.

For some reason I call in sick to work today. Accually I did feel under the weather and I am worried about that new Flu. Buttttt...

I saw the FedEx truck pull up and found my new JWT Pop Charger on my doorstep at 2pm. I installed it right away. It is now 340pm. I could definitely tell a difference in sound an response. I bought it directly from JWT for just a little more than $95. Say goodbye to those other $250 CAIs.

I must now go for a ride. Even though it is 28 degrees out here in MI. You lucky southern CA people can drive the car all winter.

Okay...im about to order one of these. What i need to know is should i have it delivered here to my apartment (i have some tools, but really just wrenches and screwdrivers only) or should i have it delivered to my folks house where my dad has every tool under the sun. Can i install this thing with minimal effort and tools?

I was gonna order this from Performance Nissan but i noticed that between yesterday and today, the price has gone from $99.95 to $120.00!

do you guys know of any hoods that would have a cutout where the filter goes? i guess that COULD maybe let more air get to the filter but then again rain, snow, etc... would be bad

There is the Stillen bumper with a whole right in front of where the filter is.

What kind of oil does the filter element use? K&N? Holley? Word of advise...with my '01 Camaro SS I had a K&N Power shot filter, when it came time to cleaning and reoiling, I guess I put a little too much because about a month later, my car started running like crap. I verified this with autotap. Turns out I had oil on my MAF! I got electric contact cleaner, with a q-tip and my car ran like a champ again. A solution I found from many guys over at ls1.com...after re-oiling...get your shop fac and suck from the inside to get the excess out. Anyway, I live in whittier...just a short trip on the 605 and I shall get a pop charger from 'performance nissan' for my G35

JWT has its' own recharge oil. The other brands you mention will probably work, but then the color of the filter would change. (K&N is red for example) The JWT Blue filter oil can be found at Performance Nissan using this link:

Well, I'm one of the guys that bought from Jenny at Performance Nissan for $120.00. We discusssed price, and she urged me to buy it then, as that was the best price they had. Ya buddy, I did not know the price had increased from $99.95. I am not very happy with this, but they have given me a tracking number, so I can't stop the order. Yesterday, I noticed that Coz had them for $100.00. I'll know better in the future.

Jim called Jason a week ago after placing another large order for Pop Chargers and some other JWT products. It is UNAUTHORAIZED for ANY VENDOR to advertize a price lower then their "JOBBER" pricing. We had to adjust our price to the Jobber since it goes against their policies for their vendors and hurts the other vendors who pay the higher pricing because they move less volume. There have been many order's for the pop chargers from 350Z members who have sent links to the "specials" thread which showed the lower price and their prices were adjusted. We get orders from people all over the world and not every single one is from My350z so we must have something in the comments section stating you are from My350z and were quoted $X.XX price from one of us. We are no longer advertising the POP charger for the price's mentioned above. We can not sell the part for that price any longer, but, If you did see the lower price. PM either my self or Jason@Performance and we will send you a price quote via PM / Email.

Thank you for your understanding.

Jim Wolf is closed until Jan 5th so we are sold out of chargers until then.

Jenny

The Pop Charger ROCKS!!! I

Sounds like a Webber carb (I'm f/ the ole school dudes) it's been my only mod so far and my car is 6 mths old. Screams past 5K rpm. The Z does get faster with age I'm at 9500 miles. Borla True Duals next. Then I'll have to go for some 9" rear wheels, I have a Base w/ no traction control and it's hard enough keeping the backside planted as is.

Not knocking the dynos, but be aware, I got a 5hp gain after 6000 miles with no other mods, and it was much hotter weather on the 2nd dyno. The only thing I can conclusively say, is the injen intake sucks.
