so I bought the nismo HR muffler from a member, but when I bolted everything up there seemed to be quite a big exhaust leak where the muffler bolts to the mid pipe. I didn't notice any gasket when I took my stock off. my question is: is there an o-ring type of gasket that fits on the mid pipe or a crush type gasket? like I said I wasn't aware we needed any gasket since I didn't see any on the stock muffler. any help would be much appreciated. please no flaming because I did try searching and nothing this specific came up.

There should be a circle type gasket that fits onto there. At least that's how the regular exhaust is, can't imagine it would be different. Nissan has them for like $6.

It's a common thing that they SHOULD have. But wouldn't hurt to give them a call before driving there.
