Default Resonator Questions

i have questions about different types of resonators.
I noticed that my vibrant tube looking resonator doesn't reduce my 3" custom exhaust at all. It just gets rid of the droning on the freeway.
Am i better off replacing the vibrant to something like our stock midpipe resonator to reduce the exhaust sound? Would this type of resonator restrict the flow?
i could use a silencer but i don't really like the look of it inside the pipe end. Also i don't like the sound with it on.

I think you'll just have to use a larger resonator. Something like a Magnapack may work.
