These are impressive pipes. Over engineered for my needs but still impressive.

Well put...!
Here's my take...if you're not looking to squeeze every bit out of your Z, then certainly that applies. However, if you are thinking about an HFC/TP...it's not a stretch to go for these. For $200 more you get MUCH MORE in terms of performance and sound with ARTs..especially now with the new bracket mounts. The lack thereof, was the ONLY strike these had against them and now that has been dealt with once and for all.
There are TWO negatives...smog requirements and smell, but those are true for ALL TPS. This will pass smog in all states than use OBD only, since ARTs are very good avoiding the dreaded *CEL*. In my case (Calif), I won't have to test my 08 until 2015 and by then the sniffer will be a thing of the past

The gains on these are very dramatic..as evidenced here:

Thank you!

It would be boring if they weren't.

Very nice, are there any more plans/ versions coming out?

I assume that bracket mounts to the same point the cats would? I like that a lot. Everyone i show Motordyne stuff to, say the same thing, wow, they are some serious flanges, they're not going to break!

I can't see any of this on the website

For the DE just reuse the stock gasket.
With the HR or VHR use the sealant.

What's the purpose of the mounting bracket? The ART pipes are so light, unlike the stock cats...

Its just to damp out vibration and noise.

How/why would you choose the ceramic pipes? any price diff?

Looking at the pics, the ceramic doesn't come with the new bracket?

The ceramic one is the shiny one......with a bracket. Ceramic keeps the pipe for radiating heat, keeps it in the pipe.

No difference in price.

I thought the shiny one was stainless?

I assumed that as all the website stuff from launch was that way, that the grey one was the ceramic?

Small upgrades or improvements. And the Chrome ceramic looks nicer too.
