Question LSDunique Plenum???

When will this be ready or are there any other viable options besides the crawford plenum?

there will be a FI and a NA version. I think the NA version will be available in about 1 - 1.5 months. the FI version will be a little longer for the wait. prices will be very nice too and no core!

i imagine the turbo version would be the first released pics and the na version would be something similar to the crawford design.

There is no escaping the plenum I guess. The 2 that will hopefully reach production will be very different in look and design.

The NA will be targeted as a VERY affordable and non obtrusive mod. Will not require any modification, will allow you to keep your existing factory plenum, and should show very solid NA gains.

This version will only be plausible if we can perfect a manufacturing technique that we have been working on for a while now.

The manifold I posted a long time ago with the pics everyone loved is not at all a dead project. We want it to as well show some good NA gains - maybe not as much as our other version or the Crawford plenum - but solid gains as well as good FI gains. We are incresing the runner length and narrowing the runner diameter. We are also lowering the overall volume of the manifold in hopes of increasing the air velocity for NA. This unit will be pricier- but still very affordable, especicially considering you will be allowed to keep your existing manifold.

Both units will allow retention of the factory strut bar.

hopeful release times

NA version 1-2 months
NA/FI version 2-4 months

So, from what I am reading, you are saying that we haven't seen the N/A plenum at all. But the FI plenum will be similar to the pic posted on this site. Correct?

As for the FI plenum, if it is truely an FI plenum, I wouldn't care or worry about what power it makes N/A, cause that is not its purpose.

Any idea on pricing or rwhp output of either plenum??

PROVEN by who? the manufactuer?

Reasonably priced? $650 (final price with required strut bar replacement) is pretty expensive for a intake manifold, not to mention a required core swap.

Plus its ugly, but that's just my opinion. Having to put a dent in a product to avoid clearance problems is a poor design.

I'd rather wait for a superior product than purchase an inferior one now.

Competition is a good thing. It causes manufacturers to continue to improve their products and helps keep pricing reasonable. It is always good to have more than one company competing for our business.

I agree, options are good. At this point, however, there are none. Maybe in a couple of months, but not now. In the meantime, my I've enjoyed my Crawford for over four months now.

BTW Hraesveig, I am not an extremist, and I don't own any explosives.
