Default Momentum Intake dyno sheets?

Hey all,

I'm just looking for some additional input. Here is my thread as posted on G35Driver, thanks in advance.

I'm not a big fan of aftermarket intakes on our cars because none provide decent gains for the price. However, since the price was pretty damn cheap I decided to pull the trigger. At the moment I'm running a Z-tube, Rev-up airbox, and K&N drop in since this combo seems to provide or maintain the best gains (read: not ****ing much.) Anyways, after searches on here, my350z, google, etc. I have found no dyno sheets of the Momentum intake. Can anyone provide before/after dyno charts of this kit? Thanks again!

Someone had asked him that on his posting about the intakes for sale. He mentioned they were on here, but several searches didn't provide anything. I'll PM him and ask again.

When I worked for Momentum, I never had any dyno charts available to show baseline and after numbers. So unless they went backwards and got a stock car to dyno, it doesn't exist.

That's odd. IMO if a company as established as Momentum were doing R&D for a new product, especially one as basic as a CAI, I would think a significant aspect of tuning and/or said R&D would be dyno time. It's a shame to hear that. I'm planning on doing some intake temp data logging and before/after dynos. So we will see how she does. As long as I don't lose any (or too much) power, peak or under the curve, I'll be okay with just the intake sound. However, if I do lose any legitimate power under the curve I will stick with my current setup. Hopefully it won't, but everything comes with a tradeoff. Can't wait til next week!

Did you install it already? There is thread here with someone doing IAT testing with this intake.

Post pics when you get it installed.

Do your own before and after dyno. it is the only way for it to be accurate.
