Default Invidia Gemini owners

I am looking for an exhaust that fits above the rear sway bar, and I have not, for the life of me, been able to find a decent underside picture of the Gemini. Does it fit above the rear sway bar like the G200 or does it go below it like the Q300? I have searched for days, no luck...

^ Thanks. That's too bad. I guess I don't want this one.

I don't think there are exhausts that fit above the swaybar, the bar is designed to run over the exhaust.

On the left side, yes, but when there is a true dual configuration, the right pipe can either go under the rear sway bar or through a space above it. I personally would like one where it tucks up above. It's just for peace of mind. Here are a few pics:

I see your point, but that bar moves upwards....

I'd also note that something like the Motordyne system holds it's self up really high. That point on the car is also the 'axle' point and causes the least of any clearance issues due to the wheel holding the car at a constant distance from the ground at that point.

Thought the owners could also answer my question about the Gemini and sway bar. Since the exhaust goes under the sway bar how much clearance do you have between the piping and the road?

Does the clearance matter? The sway bar intersects with the rear wheels, so whenver the wheels go over a speed bump, for example, the exhaust in that location is "raised" as well.

From those pics, I'd say it is supposed to sit above the say bar. Here is another shot of a member that just installed his Invidia Gemini:

Looks that way, but based on the location/orientation of the bend and the flanges, it'll never rotate to do so based on the previous post picture.

Edit* Actually, looking at it, it appears it might rotate a complete 180 degrees and do just that.

did you have to buy gaskets with your exhaust or did it come with it?

the two gaskets that did not come with the gemini were the gaskets that connect to the cats from what i remember. i simply bought a bottle of gasket maker and reused the old one.

That piping looks small, what size mm and inches is it? Not 2.5 is it?

Fascinating! It fits both ways!? That's great info. I ended up with the DC Sports xpipe exhaust. It fits above.

This thread is a tad old now but I forgot to mention that I had emailed Invidia and they confirmed that it indeed goes over the sway bar. For anyone else who might be wondering.

In fact, looking at the pic posted of the Q300 - it appears that pipe is installed wrong as well.
