Default Sheered Catalytic Converter Bolts

Ladies and gents, was trying to install my new exhaust on today, and encountered a problem. While removing the old y pipe i sheared one of the bolts coming from cat converter to the y pipe. Can anybody recommend the best way to remove this bolt from the cat?

the stationary bolts? same thing happened to me. just put an open ended wrench around the screw and just bend the **** out of the screw and in my case it broke the welds loose on the other side and popped off. then just go buy another one at your local auto store!

ok peeps, got the bolt off in 2 minutes, get a angle grinder and put a cut into one side of the flange (without damaging anything of course) and then the bolt comes out with a simple tap.

I started a similar thread today but unfortunately did not see this one first. So you actually cut into the flange? Or did you cut into the head of the stud where it presses into the back side of the flange?

@ Bmurray....think you got lucky with that approach or are you pretty confident it would work?

And anyone happen to know the part number and/or size+length of that stud so I can go buy it ahead of time?
