congrats, and keep mod'ing. i was very pleasantly supprised with the sound that my k&n typhoon intake added to the mix. i can't wait to throw on some rt cats and injen straight tip exhaust and then see what it sounds like! i was wondering if you notice an increased "hissing" noise when getting on the throttle above 3k rpm. i noticed with the stock intake, but it seems much more exagerated with the addition of an intake. i think its the air rushing around the throttle body, 'cause i can't think of what else it could be.

yes I do get that noise around the popocharger it self when I hit 3k rpm. It is just the sound of air getting sucked in which is pretty cool sound.

very easy, the hardest part is installing the two little screws from the heat shield to the plastic intake snorkel. I aligned them together then use a really small finish nail (2 inches long) to mark the 2 little holes then use the same nail, heat it really hot , use a needle pliers to grab the nail and punch it throught the marked holes. just becareful when when use realign the MAF sensor u algin it at the right angle or line up the marks already there.

go to Courtesyparts.com for illustrations but they will tell you to drill the two holes whick I think it's impossible. Use my methods of the heated nail

you don't have to cut or modify anything. Just a 10mm socket
