Default INVIDIA N1 exhaust system

The INVIDIA N1 exhaust system for the 350Z has a dyno proven 21.1 RWHP gain on the 350Z....The Invidia system is a Dual Exit, Dual Muffler, Tig Welded, Stainless Steel, highly polished, beautiful exhaust system for the Newest Supercar from NISSAN.

i saw this on another forum........club350.com

is this true????

I am a bit skeptical about the HP gains. Most systems are only showing under 10 HP gains.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think I readed from Importuner's dyno shoot out that Invidia N1 exhaust only made about 3 whp.

It could only wish... not even the best exhaust systems from Japan make that much.

Sure it will make that, if the baseline pull was done using a hairdryer on HI in place of the stock airbox.

i believe that one of the performance boys (or girl) said that they take their claim from the lowest baseline dyno, and compare it to the highest aftermod dyno. Dont expect more than 10 real world hp from any exhaust on the market right now. Although as jason said if it gets rid of that cats, that sounds like a "resonable" claim. I would say pick an exhaust by sound, cause the power differences between most of them are gonna be so small you wont notice, but the sound you will notice everytime you start the car.

correct... they could have also had a very low baseline... and a big spike in one of their better # runs...

It's easy to manipulate results. I used to help run a dynojet 248C, and before each run you would take a temperature reading and enter it. A simple change in temp being entered would affect your results.
