Default Megan Racing Test Pipes???

Hey whats up everyone...im looking to buy Meagan Racing Resonated Test pipes. I've never had test pipes, and i want to find out more about these. How bad is the smell and rasp on TP's. BTW i will be running them with my Stillen True Dual exhaust and Stillen intake. Any info will help a lot.
Thanks.

Dont buy these i have had these on my car for 4 months and the left side res. broke interally. If you put a spacer on the o2 sensor it will not throw a cel. I am currently on the hunt to buy the OBX long tube headers, they by-pass the test pipes.

Motordyne ART Pipes... and use the search feature, thats why it is there. These cars have been out since since 2003 and I promise most if not all the products for this car have been covered at one time or another in the last 9 years.

What he said. A test pipe, in function, is typically a test pipe. The quality is more of a concern. I'd go with Z1 if on a budget.

It just depends on your goals/purpose.

Sure ART pipes are great quality and proven results (I've had them), but you have to ask yourself, are they really five times as good quality and do they make five times more power than the MR? The answer is no, but some would argue that top quality and a few more ponies is worth five times the price.

Aside from HP... what other goals can you achieve with TP's?

I'd rather wait for a nice used set of ART's than pay $200.00 for something that might last a year or might last 1 day... then you have to take them out and deal with the headache of sending them back(assuming they have some type of warranty and that the OP is doing this himself... if not the shop isn't going to do it for free).

OP do it right the first time... ART's sound, are built and perform better than anything out there.

Meh. Testpipes are just exhaust pipes without catalytic converters. No special RnD is necessary, really.

I've been running my Ebay TP's for almost 3 yrs now with almost 30k miles. I scrape them on speedbumps everyday to work. No issues, no drama and I got good HP gains from it, along with the rest of the mods.

Just get whatever TPs you can afford, as long as they have good fitment.

I was considering MR TP but I guess I'll look for something else.. Not really wanting to spend that much to get the ART pipes.
