Thanks Doh!

We all are using Gates Belts right? K06015 for 1 and 2?

So I am now using one pulley from the 9 kit and one from the 7 lb kit hehe, the number of teeth I am using will be anounced after reflash I am done playing with that but will continue to help pull teeth so to speak since I have all 4. I, well I should say we are now working on the Plenum.

Sweet!

By the way, no one has proven to me that the 9 lb pulleys in and of themselves (sent to me 6 months ago) make X amount of boost so right now the Boost Guage was my best purchase. Add a tooth, take a drive, lather rinse repeat

The day I did the logging that we have been talking about it was 32-35. Elev is +500 or lower. Humidity is typically high here. www.weather.com enter 27858 area code. Hot today, 72 and sunny.
OK thanks,

so that we are on the same page I was at 44 degrees and +275 feet and zip code 95814.

Cool, we may not figure out the "meaning of life" or "what women want" but we will, no doubt, log some very useful data.

OK #4 is 22, we can't get to #3 but is is aprox 30 and shimmed. I do not think ATI would make a different pulley for the # 3 location for a shimmed pulley I can't count the bottom teeth but is like I said aprox 30, the unshimmed pulley which may be interchangeble on my car is 22 teeth. When I ordered "more boost" they sent me only pulleys 1 and 2 though if this at all helps?

Thanks, you never know. Why do I have a 27 tooth in #2 and you have a 26? Thats a little strange?

Because I ordered my kit May 2003 for July 2003 delivery? That one tooth could be to account for temp changes? That one tooth alone would add boost, I tried it to be sure.

Mine...

#1 pulley = 38 teeth
#2 pulley = 27 teeth

Less teeth on #2 will increase boost
More teeth on #2 will decrease boost

Less teeth on #1 will decrease boost
More teeth on #1 will increase boost

I talked to ATI about this when I originally bought my kit. They only send one type of pulley out for 7PSI. They don't care about elevation or temperature. So for those at higher elevation, they just get stuck with less boost.

Was a fun but short ride eh EJ? And it was an A5T in D not manual mode and it was WOT w/o any tranny sticking or "lazy shifts.

And my plugs were slightly rich not lean so much for the all people running RT Cat's are lean myth. EGT was at 500-600

Nice to have a witness for a change, come by any time EJ, like uh tomorow hehe! Here is the plug EJ pulled after 7k on new setup and 2k on RT Cats.

Cylinder #6 stock plug before adding the coppers, the car pulls like a scalded dog and purrs like a kitten now and I we routed the belt the better way again ; under the tensioner and it is very quiet.

Zed if you are out there my idle is perfect at .37, 1 heat range colder NGK Coppers! ATI says 35 others are doing 39, I wanted to be different and went right in the middle. I may just head up to TS this Tuesday! Edit all my typos of excitement.

OK,

another question then I guess.

How did I end up with a 25 and a 26 and never ever saw a 27 in my life? BTW, I can make 10 pounds of boost easy, should of got that 8.5 block instead. I still say the key is more fuel (injectors pump) and ECU changes and changed shift points are the key to my 2nd round a success in the A5T!
